Tour Description

Vienna (Austria) , developed from early Celtic and Roman settlements into a Medieval and Baroque city, was the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It played an essential role as a leading European music centre, from the great age of Viennese Classicism through the early part of the 20th century. The historic centre of Vienna is rich in architectural ensembles, including Baroque castles and gardens, as well as the late-19th-century Ringstrasse lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks.

Day 2VIENNA: BELVEDERE PALACE – SCHONBURNN PALACE TOUR

“The Belvedere Palace stands as a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture exuding grandeur and elegance in every detail. Built in the late 17th century for Prince Eugene of Savoy, this complex comprises two palaces, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, connected by beautifully landscaped gardens. The Lower Belvedere houses artworks belonging to more recent artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. Day 3 DAY TRIP TO HALLSTATT – SALZBURG

“This beautiful little town of HALLSTATT has attracted visitors for centuries. The „white gold“, deep in the heart of the mountain, has meant local people have had to work extremely hard over the centuries, but has also greatly increased their prosperity and brought with it certain privileges. Fortress Hohensalzburg - This amazing 11th-century castle overlooks Salzburg from a hill on the outskirts of the city. Fortress Hohensalzburg is a real eye-catcher, high above the Baroque towers of the city. The castle remains a visible landmark to this day and is an unmistakable feature of Salzburg’s world-famous skyline. From afar, the mighty walls begin to reveal the history visitors experience at first hand within these sturdy defenses. Opening hours: 365 days a year - even on public holidays! January – April and October– December: 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Please note: On 24th of December, They are closing at 2pm.
The birthplace of the local Mozart - The birthplace of the famous composer displays numerous musical artifacts from his early childhood. Erzabtei Stift St. Peter Salzburg - This medieval monastery has served as the home to monks for over 1,000 years.

Day 4 : VIENNA TO PRAGUE BY TRAIN/BUS

The city has a rich architectural heritage that reflects both the uncertain currents of history in Bohemia and an urban life extending back more than 1,000 years.

Day 5PRAGUE CITY TOUR

“Prague Castle was most likely founded in around 880 by Prince Bořivoj of the Premyslid Dynasty (Přemyslovci). According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Prague Castle is the largest coherent castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 m². A UNESCO World Heritage site, it consists of a large-scale composition of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from the remains of Romanesque-style buildings from the 10th century through Gothic modifications of the 14th century. The famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik was responsible for extensive renovations in the time of the First Republic (1918-1938). Since the Velvet Revolution, Prague Castle has undergone significant and ongoing repairs and reconstructions”.
“The original residence building, mostly wooden, was built at Prague Castle already at the turn of the 9th and 10th century. Its exact location is not documented. It was prince Soběslav in the 12th century who had a stone Romanesque palace built right next to a new fortification wall. Remains of it have been preserved in the underground till the present times. The palace was adjoined on its eastern side by All Saints' Chapel, which was consecrated in 1185”.
1100 onwards : Prague Castle Old Royal Palace St. George's Basilica - St. George's Basilica originated as the second church at Prague Castle. Only parts of the building, founded about 920 by Prince Vratislav I have been preserved. When the convent of Benedictine nuns was founded in 973, the church was enlarged and reconstructed.
